sick parakeet

My parakeet is about 6 years old. He's a male named Tweety. He has almost quit talking and his poop is real runny about the last week. He seems to get real winded when he flys and takes lots of naps. I think I need to take him to the vet.

i think he may just have a bad case of diareha which is from the runny poop but the rest i don't know about..hope he feels better soon

Sounds to me like you do need to take him to the vet.... please do it as soon as possible, as budgies can go downhill pretty quickly.
