fruits and veggies

hi i have a black capped conure baby. she is weaned but she will not eat any fruits or veggies. i keep trying but she wont go for it. any ideas?

It might work if u put the veggies in a bowl hidden by her favourite snacking food then she might eat them...i hope

My birds like it when I eat the food, make a deal out of what I am eating, i.e., mmmm this is good; or yum yum. Their curiosity gets the best of them and they have to know what I am eating and they want some!

Sometimes, birds reaction to fruits and vegetables will change when it is put on there playgym. The playgym is a fun place, the food being put on must be too! This often works for pellets aswell....

You can also try making recipes including fruits and vegetables, or fruit and veggy seed sticks. But nothing can replace fresh veggies and fruits.
