Beak length
HI everyone- I'm confused about beak length. I don't know how long is too long. Can you give me some guidance? Is the top half supposed to overhang the bottom half significantly?
Here's a pic of Humphrey (wet from a bath!) which clearly shows his beak. It might be a teeny bit longer now. Does it look ok? He has a beak conditioner mineral block and a concrete file perch, which he does use on his beak, but I don't know if it's enough. Here's Humphrey's pic: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/index.html Thanks! Michele and Humph

Michele:
As a general rule, a healthy bird with no known liver issues, provided with plenty of wooden toys and things to rub their beak on like mineral blocks, cuttlebones, etc. should NOT need a beak trim. It's too long if he has trouble eating. THE OUTLAW
