3 month old GCC only wants to cuddle/sleep

Do younger birds sleep more?

We take SoCo out for play time, and all "he" wants to do is, get under your chin, in the crack of your arm, or he literally rubs his back onto you, falling over onto his side, to lay there, and fall asleep lol. He rubs his head on you like a cat to get your attention... he never wants to play!

I know this could be a security thing... maybe just too afraid to be out in the open... should I be discouraging this behavoir or let him do it? Any suggestions?

Younger birds may sleep more, though birds who love to cuddle do love to nap on a person as well. You should try to make sure that he know how to play on his own in his cage or on his playstand with toys. He needs to learn that he'll be fine left alone, but will be loved and cuddled when being handled.

He plays great in his cage... talking himself too lol, or trying to atleast.

I never thought about the fact that maybe he is like that only because I am holding him... I don't have a play stand for him yet, haven't found the perfect one. But i do put balls with bells in them on the bed.. he just runs for me haha.

He sounds adorable! Perhaps you can help him learn how to play by having small toys available to play together with. A lot of conures will hold a small whiffle style ball while on their backs, or maybe a popscicle stick to chew on?
