Colour fed canaries

Hi. I breed satinette and fife canaries but have just bought a red mosaic hen canary. I would like to breed the red factor with a fife. Any suggestions on what colour fife would be the best or any opinions on what the young would be like in colour. I have narrowed the fifes down to a brown/white varigated, or a buff. Any advice is much appreciated.
