what kind of bird is bambino, and how long have you had her?
sometimes the biting could just be a fear - then the way to go would be to slowly get rid of that... talk to her while she's in the cage, moving your hand closer to the cage, and so forth... barbara heidenreich has a lot of helpful tips for this

she is a parakeet but she is nothing like this when she is out of her cage so ithink she is just teritorial but there must be a way to fix this.
i have tried many things i change perches and toys once a week or add new ones every so often when i get her new ones. last night i even put her in a old cage from our older parakeets but as soon as she went in there for a few minutes she bit me and may i mention that little bite almost brought me to tears. |

When she bites blow on her gently. It should do the trick. As soon as you see her going to bite blow on her.
How old is she? This matters because they go threw a stage in their life where they become aggressive. The teenage stage. She is biting out of fear right now if she is new. That is if you recently got her. Right now I have a 7 month old conure I got two weeks ago, he is a rescue and was abused and neglected. So Im in the same spot as you. Get to know her behavior. Then you will be able to tell what kind of mood they are in. For example I now know that when Boomers head feathers stand up she is in a bad mood and I need to leave her alone. She also does a loud squawk which tells me to back off. Boomer bites until I bleed (used to, better now) and it is very tough to get her beak off of my skin. But as soon as I blow she stops and I say a firm NO! This is starting to work for me and she has calmed down and it only took a week. I know right now it is tough and this does not mean you are a bad owner. If you gave up on her that is a bad owner but you are here trying to get answers and not giving up on her so good for you. I could NEVER give up my birds, my animals, for that matter. Good for you for not giving her up.

Stop changing her cage around until she settles down into it. She needs some stability till she is used to everything. Don't make a fuss when she bites, keep holding her and pretend it doesn't hurt- she won't do it for long. Teach her step up and do it over and over with her on your hand, use lots of millet to reward her for being good.
