Question ???breeding boxes

I am just wondering is it better to have breeding boxes inside the cage rather than a hole in the cage with the box on the outside??

I always attached the box to the outside. This way they did not lose space in their cage.

???breeding boxes

My nest boxes were always on outside of cage. Easier access and less stress for the breeders.

Depends on the size of the cage/flight, the species of bird that you are trying to breed, the destructive nature of the bird, whether the cage is outside or inside your home, the size of the wire bars, etc.
