Im very glad you got him in. Infections with little delicate animals like that can get sick really really fast. It’s best to get them in ASAP when they get sick.
Baytril Is an EXCELLENT antibiotic. It’s one of the strongest, big gun drugs. If I have to medicate my animals I like the pills better. I wrap them up in raisins or their favorite treat. They usually gobble it up but I watch closely to make sure they are eating it.
You should give acidophilus as well, two hours before or after giving the Baytril. If given at the same times it interferes with the Baytril working.
Keep us updated. But Im sure it will clear up. I wonder what that was from.
