easy birdie lollipops

What you need:
-wooden tongue depressor or craft stick, dyed in food coloring
-peanut butter (i like organic)
-quality seed mix

Roll the tongue depressor or craft stick in a good amount of peanut butter and then dip in the seed mix, covering the peanut butter. Freeze for 1/2 hour to thicken the peanut butter and serve cold. Yummy!!

sounds like a good idea but do the craft sticks need to be dyed in food coloring or can it just look normal?

Great idea Jess - I do something like this with a plastic measuring spoon. Dip it in pb and then grated carrots, tie paulie rope to it and hang it from her favorite perch. She'll work at that for minutes on end! I like your idea better though because you can make a bunch of those up and have them on hand. Thanks!

Hi Bird Lover.
You don't need to dye them at all. I don't because Tiki really doesn't care. Some birds might find it more interesting though.
Welcome to the board!
