Corn on the cob, Raw or Cooked?

I recently bought a bunch of corn on the cob, the birds have loved it when we gave it to them cooked. Is it better to give it to them cooked or raw? Which do your birds prefer?

Well, mine love it all ways. I like to at least blanche it, however, to remove whatever pesticides may be lingering.

Scarlett loves it both raw and cooked. Sometimes I'll take a raw ear and make 1 or 2 inch slices that make little "discs" and give them to her as a treat. She also it sliced off of the cob when we make it on the grill.

All my birds love frozen corn cobs that have been defrosted. Sometimes I give them raw corn-that is how they would find it in the wild but they don't care for it-spoiled little buggers! I think frozen is juicier.

All of my birds love corn no matter how it comes. They eat the frozen kernels the frozen corn on the cob thawed fresh and raw, blanched, grilled etc etc anyway I want to fix it is fine by them. I have no fussy eaters here and they try or eat most anything I give them.

My birds will eat either way cooked or raw. This time of year I will blanche it and freeze 3 or 4 dozen cut into 2" tall disc's. This way I have it for most of the winter.

Since I am into my second month with my first bird, I wasn't sure which way to feed the corn. I was just wondering myself yester. I guess 'cuz it's in season. Thanks for the info.
