Pancakes?? (I dont think that is healthy what do you think?)

Some one told me this recipie for birdie pancakes but i'm not shure birdie pancakes are good for them tell me what you think

(Idon't have the exact measurements because a parakeet's diet is much different a macaw or something :)

well you need:
pancakemix
afew of your feathered friend's favorite fuits

What you do:
cut up the fruits into small pieces. add the fruits then mix thems as you would normal pancakes however pour less mix in the pan @ a time to make smaller pancakes

Hey CNizzote

Hey CNizzote,
Birdie pankakes may be very healthy but make sure not to cook them on non stick pans(toxic to birds if overheated). So pans made out of materials such as stainless steal would be ideal.

And as Phil said for his parrotlet, make sure the pancakes are very small and that they don't take up your fids hunger for his base diet.

So, yup you can add many things to the pancakes as long as their bird friendly. Fruits, veggies, etc!!!

Steven

Another easy thing is Jiffy cornbread mix to make muffins with veggies in them. You can get muffin tins that make tiny muffins.

I make lexi pancakes about 2 times a week. I use juice instead of water and put just a little honey on them. Sho says Thank-you when she gets them.
