Thumbs up Yummy Yum Yum

Today I made my first bread for Zoe. The house smells like Thanksgiving..LOL.
I can not wait until it cools off so I can give her a piece. I went with a veggie one this time and if it's a hit I am going to bake her a fruity one. Does anybody know if you can use a different type of box mix other then the corn? Would Blueberry be ok or does it have too many sugars? I love to cook and bake and am looking forward to making her many homemade recipies. Any suggestions would be appreciated .

I use the jiffy mix and I add the frozen berries that's black/blue/strawberries. I drained them well after thawed. and I add about 3/4 of a cup.

You can use some of the other muffin mixes as long as you make sure they are very low or no sodium and very low or no sugar. This would be the main problem as your blueberry, banana nut etc usually have a lot of added sugars and salt. You might be able to find some in the "healthy foods" section for people with diabetes or watching their weight, needing low sodium etc.

Otherwise use the corn muffin or make your own muffins from scratch minus the salt and the high sugar and add any fruits or veggies you want.
