no it will not. It was Mike's sight. There is a yahoo group that has been created since. I joined it incase I lose the recipe. Mike died suddenly a month or so ago. I don't know exactly what happened.

Freezing?

Can this recipe be made and then frozen for a while (no more than about 3 mos - if I get it right, she'll scarf her way through it, eh?) to preserve it and to allow a caregiver to make enough ahead of time?

Sounds like a great mash. I'll have to give it a try sometime. Maybe I can finally wean my seed-addicted tiel onto something healthier. . . .

it sure can be frozen. A quarter batch lasts my four about a month and a half. I freeze it in quart sized zip locks and each bag is about 4 or 5 days worth.

Jim, just wondering if you could use 15 bean soup mix (minus the flavor packet) in stead of all the beans in the recipe. It seems to have most of the beans already in it also it requires you soak overnight and cook as the recipe you discribed.

you sure can. This recipe is very versatile. I add stuff to it all time. Sometimes I leave the fresh fruit out and use dried fruit instead..........

I made this mash, with some things added, taken away...

just follow it sort-a. I pre-measured out meals. 1/3 cup a day, twice a day is a meal for a pair of ringnecks or one ekkie.
frozen, said to last quite a while.
I used too many beans, but oh well.. it'll change in a month to have a lot of pumpkin

That receipt looks as though you'd have to purchase one of every item in the grocery store. WOW!!
