the birdie bread was a hit!!!! i tweaked it a little bit, using shadows favorite veggies, orange juice instead of apple, and organic baby food instead of apple sauce.
he loved it!!!!! i am so happy!
heres some pics of the finished product and shadow eating it out of my hand
(crappy quality, taken with camera phone)

glad to hear he likes it.... as simple as it is, and as well received by the birds, the little time needed is well invested

give shadow a scritchy from me!

Gonna have to make another batch for the Pitster.....he gets it every morning in some fashion or another. I like to mix it up and make sure it's in a different form everyday, so he doesn't get bored. Today I mixed in broccoli, carrots, some pellets, and then some apple juice to moisten it a bit. He really loves it when I scramble it with some eggs.

I made birdie bread today and it just came out of the oven, i used yogurt, sweet potato and apple baby food, spinach, slivered almonds (unsalted of course) craisin, seed, peppers, strawberry, carrot, cornmeal, baking powder and orange juice. If you want variety i can give you the whole recipe later
