I think the larger bones from a leg of chicken would be fine, but not from the wings... it would be like with dogs... you don't give them the small bones. ???

My Quakers, and Indian Ringneck love chicken, and the BG macaw loves the bones. She's not too crazy about the meat but she likes the marrow.

My sister thinks I should be shot for giving my quaker chicken. She swears it's cannabalism. Pumpkin loves it. I recently, but don't know if it's a good thing or not, gave him a teeny tiny piece of shrimp that he just went crazy for.

Doyle tried chicken for the first time yesterday, he ate a little bit but he wasn't crazy about it.

My macaws all LOVE chicken and chicken bones. The greys like a bit of chicken (meat only), and Joey loves shrimp and sardines.

are these fresh or canned sardines? Canned are preserved with lots of salt, no? Packed in oil? I'm not a sardine eater myself, but this is what I remember....

Some things in moderation is fine, but things that are loaded/preserved with salt are probably not a good idea.....jmo
