a recipe taught to me at tafe doing my certificate 2 in animal studies
> unsulted popcorn > eggs > peanuts - unsalted and in shells > i think thats about it > mix 1 cup of popcorn with about 10 peanuts and 2 beaten eggs untill popcorn dramatically reduces in size > add and mix in the crushed egg and peanut shells (for calcium) > work the mixture into a ball around the end of a peice of chain so that it meshes with the chainlinks > place onto a sheet of grease paper and cook on high (in oven) untill the egg cooks and holds everything together > leave to cool and then hang in a cage for your birds to enjoy this is also a huge hit with dogs, rats/mice and all parrots luke

Peanuts in the shell can be deadly to parrots due to the mold that can grow on them.
