Yes, me!
But I've never owned one, only ridden twice. I collect equestrian art, and am an equestrian artist myself. My best friend in high school had horses. She was so lucky.
They're beautiful, complex beings. Do you think a 54 year old woman like me could take up riding lessons? |

My mother in law owns them, she has a farm in Oregon and she has 4 horses.
2 of them were abused. Norton was a state champion, as a race horse he racked up over 100k. He also fathered many many horses. But... He got an infection in his foot, the owner didnt want him and traded him for a smaller breeding horse, the 2nd owner also didnt take care of it. He was actually going to the "glue factory" when my mother in law heard about him, she bought him and took him in and she nursed him back to health. So now he lives on a big farm and he jumps fences and gets ridden a lot. Unexperienced riders are not allowed to ride him because he gets wild :D. He's my favorite, but yeah she has 4 horses and everytime we're up in Oregon we ride them.

showed Hunters for 10 years, had horses (thoroughbreds, appaloosas, quarter horses) for about 15 years...horseless now
Someday when I finish school and land somewhere I can keep one or two, I definitely will. Warm barn full of horses on a cold crisp morning....ummm. Miss that. |

I started horse back riding in July and now I have a "borrowed horse" I met a couple who have 6 horses and they got the "borrowed horse" for me because a friend of them could not keep her anymore. She is a palomino and is about 21 years old. I love to ride her, well when she doesn't get stubern. She had not been ridin in about 10 years before they brought her to the ranch!!!!!And I was a beginer and was the first to ride her!!!
