Sad day today...
Today one of our former race horses had her colt and sadly we lost the colt. It was about a month premature and when she came out her feet were folded back behind her head and she died. It was very sad and our whole family is depressed. But the mare is ok- thank god.

I am sorry for you and your family. That must have been terribly disappointing. I can understand why everyone is depressed. I hope there will be other new arrivals that will bring with them new happiness for all of you.

thanks... it just sucks because a lot of time and money was spent in preparing and we were so looking forward to the new baby...

 I am so very sorry for the loss of your mare's foal. I can't imagine the heart break for you and her as well.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
