Make your own Perch?
Any ideas or good websites that would show us how to make a perch? We think we could make one alot nicer than we could buy. All ideas appreciated!

I think that depends on the type of perch you plan on making.... Regular pine dowls can be bought at a hardware store.... or you could look into a natural branch from a safe tree in your area... those are always nice and fun to chew!!! Or even look at the twisted atom (hoopball) thread below... Could go as far as making a perch out of PVC and wrapping it in sisal, or cotton rope, or even vet wrap! Endless possibilities!

I went and got some pine dowels from Home Depot & made perches outta them but then the fids never really used them so I made giant swings outta them instead. Gives them something extra to play on while outta the cage. Crystal
