I just finished making this for a friend. I cut the bamboo a few months ago and it took awhile to dry so it took a lot longer to build then I thought it would. Its for an M2. The center section for a boing.

this is the base. 3/4" PVC can be filled with water for added weight or just toss something over the floor pieces if you desire extra added stability.



just a couple shots showing how I roped the joints after using a nut and bolt to old things together.





this is the arm for the boing



a rope grid on one end for climbing fun, each piece of rope easily replaceable.

now, may be a silly question but, WHERE did you find bamboo? I mean, I may live where its a bit too cold to grow it, unless it really DOES grow fast enough that I'd have a lot of feets worth in our 4 month growing season in MN

swanwillow, I'm in MN too, and you can find bamboo sticks just like those at Pier One Imports.

That is an amazing stand!! Can I order one? :P
