DIY outdoor aviary/playroom plans

We'll be getting a our first B&G in a few months and are very excited, as you can imagine. Since we love spending time outdoors on warm beautiful days, we thought it would be nice to have our feathered friend outside with us as often as the weather will permit. We would like find something that we could tear down easily in the winter months and also something that we could clean easily. Has anyone had any actual experience building something like this? We're looking for something safe, first and foremost. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Some members have used dog kennels (stainless steel or coated wire) for their macaws. Others have purchased the materials and built it themselves.

Why is there not an aviary section in the forum? I think it would be much easier for people to look for information. When I posted on information on an aviary I did the search thing an it did not bring all of the information that I was looking for not the links Monica brought up.
