This may not help but one of my macaws hated water at first. So I started playing in it with my hands & acted like it was the best thing in the world. Well, after awhile he couldn't take it anymore & had to come play for himself. He still takes a little help but not as much. Crystal

Our TAG never liked water, except to throw around whenever we turned the vacuum cleaner on, then the water flinging began :-).
I would put 1/4 " of water in a cookie sheet with sides then drop some of his favorite toys in it. I would then tap my fingers in it laughing like a loon. When he approached the water, I would move his toys away and say those are may toys. As he got in the water I would make a huge ordeal about him not getting me wet etc etc.

He never really LOVED the water but he at least came to tolerate it better.
