My 1st attempt...

We've had our 'tiel now for about 2 weeks, and we just got our new Jenday. I thought it would be a good day to make them both a "play gym". I know Alice (The Janday) isn't going to be ready to come out and play for quite some time, but rather than making a new one, I thought I would make it extra-large for when she's ready.

I have a few more things I'd like to add to it, but I'd like some comments on my first try... ;)

*edit to add:

I used some grapevine I got in a reptile habitat that was baked before using, and some twisted sun-bleached branches from Michaels' craft store. I got the cups at our local bird store. The base is a desk I got at a yard sale today for 5 bucks! Future plans are for a climbing net on the left side, and a tightrope across the two grapevine "trunks". I need to go to the hardware store and get some more stainless eyehooks though.

Great job! I wish I had the space for a large playstand/furniture piece. Love the branches you found.
