Climbing Net

I found this site that has a great DIY Climbing Net so I though I would share. I made a small net for my fids by splicing it together but I'm planning on making another one and I think I will do it this way instead.

Hi,
What a great idea. Thanks to the person who posted it for us to see and to the person who created it, yeah!

I was unaware that home depot sisal might have gasoline on it...that is terrible!

I was wondering where you bought the white cotton rope for your birds?

Thanks!

RubyMuse, it is called "Supreme Cotton Rope", it is made especially for birds. I'm not sure which is the cheapest place to get it, but if you google for it, you may find a vendor close to you. :)

that is awesome!! Im definitely going to try it out, hopefully I can figure out how to do the knots!! Ive been to a few sites but most were sold out! & the others didnt really tell me how much I was getting. It is generally not very expensive though which is great. I wonder if I can find a craft store around here that sells it?

I don't think you'll find a craft store with supreme cotton, but you might have an easier time finding untreated sisal or something like that. :)

cabirdnerds.com has it,
they are little more expensive than some places (and cheaper than others)
but I do prefer them, if you order they send you a free small goodie bag too, they have alot of fun toy parts as well :)
certainly recommended

Great! I've been wanting to make one for ages...think I'll have to practise the knot for a bit though.
