Hello there

Hello everyone at the Bird Board, my name is Lisa, and I am a happy and proud parront to 5 little guys. All my boys stay busy with bird talk. Of course they do a little human talk, but they much better prefer bird chatting, and keeping their beaks very busy. My little Pretty Boy (Normal Grey Cockatiel) turns 4 years old today. My boy is growing up, but they all look for the party Birdday's. It is that time to celebrate, again. Open presents, and shred them to peace's. I love all my boys. I'm so devoted to what I do, I spoil them everyday, especially when mommy gets that pay check. LOL!

My flock starts from 3 very spoiled Cockatiels. Pretty Boy, whom I mentioned above, Ivory, (Pretty Boy's best friend) Lutino Tiel, and famous Snoopy, White Face Cinnamon Pearl Cockatiel. "You can check Snoopy out in the new Bird Talk magazine September 2005, on page 19." Also, some words that I wrote. Then there is my love of my life, my Zeta--lord of the Quakers, LOL. My fifth baby is my baby boy, Black Headed Caique who will join us in 3 weeks. I don't really have a name that I like, but my breeder who breed Ivory and Snoopy named him Doogie-Bird. So, Doogie it is, for now.

Recently, we had a Bird Fair that I attend 3 times a year. I went with my best bird buddy, and my sister. We had fun, talked about our fids, and visit our breeds, oh and spend money like there is no tomorrow. We get many great looking stuff that our fids just love to peace's. I went and said hello to my breeder, Denise. She had 3 Caiques in the cage. They were so active, barking at there toys, hanging up-side-down, flipping, pooping, you name it. There was this one little guy who kept coming back to my sister and I. I asked her if I could see the little imp, she pulled him out, and there was little Doogie-Bird all in my face. Well, first I told him to come here, and he hopped to me and smashed his head all over my face......then my sister called him and he feel in love with her. So, now we are looking at our 5th birdie. My dad and I are going to visit him this Sunday, so I will bring my camera and take pics of the Doogie that will be mine, VERY SOON!!

I've owned parrots for 7 years. My first pair of birdies were two Budgies my aunt gave to us. That is how all this lovely kayos started. And, we looking at some LONG wonderful years playing, spoiling, training, clowning, and having too much fun with our fids.

I am already a member, but I've been too busy to post, so I am introducing myself here.

I am a 19 year old female college student. Studying in the filed's of Avian medicine, veterinarian assistants. I am into graphics, art, making website's with flash, etc...etc.. I am a SUPER DIE HARD FAN for Star Wars movies. I work at A&F, but my love for life is my parrots. I look forward to meeting everyone here.
Bye for now!

Lisa

Hi Lisa and welcome aboard! It's great to have you here and I am sure that there will be people curious about your studies! I'm only 17 myself though am still trying to think about what to go into as far as college goes and which direction to take!

Your fids do look gorgeous, and quite spoiled!

Thank you! Pretty Boy had a wonderful day. We had all kinds of carious games to play. Games to entertain the mind. I give my birds toys, but I mostly buy puzzle toys. Parrots are smart animals, so I give them puzzlers to do. It is quit exciting. Even if they never latch on, it is still great and healthy games to play for there mind.
