Silvie and I are new! :D

Hi! Silvie is a cockatiel, normal looking, I guess you could say. Gray body with a little white on his wings, yellow head and red cheeks. He just had his wings clipped, and he's not to thrilled about it :P but at least now I can take him into the living room without the cats getting him.
He's on my shoulder now, and ow, he just tried to take a bite out of my earring. That hurts.
Silvie's always hissing at me when he's mad, though. Is that normal?
