Hey everyone
Okay, this is my first message board post ever so here goes. My name is Tonya and I live in Dallas Texas with my husband and three kids. We have a beautiful four month old sun conure that we have been hand feeding for
2 1/2 months. He just this week decided that it was time to quit that so he is now officially weaned. I'll kind of miss his early morning dance for his syringe. Anyway, thanks for such a great place for novices such as myself to get advice from those that know more than I do.

Welcome to the board! Sun conures are so beautiful. If I was a little more tolerant of noise I would love to own one. Good luck with your baby.

This is such a great way for me to learn so much about my new baby. You guys are great for responding and the information I have learned is incredible. My husband thinks that maybe I'm a little addicted and he could be right. Thanks again for helping out newbies like me feel right at home.

Me too. So far he is just the sweetest and most loving of birds, but I am sure that will change when he hits his terrible twos. There is so much negative information out there on the noise level of these guys, I just hope that I will get lucky and have one that is in the tolerable zone.
