Hello All,

Monica invited me to the forum and I thought that I would come and see how things are here.

My wife and I are hobby breeders of Lovebirds which we have been breeding for about two years now. We live in the rainy northwest. Right now we have 5 active breeding pairs. In the past few months we have had 5 successful clutches for a total of 22 chicks. All total we have 40 lovebirds. Their mutations are:
Lutino
Standard Green Peachface
Creamino
Black Masked
Dutch Blue
White faced / Violet factor
Standard Green Peachface / Violet factor
American Cinnimon
Dutch Blue Slate
Orange Face Lovebird
Dutch Blue / Heavy Pied
Standard Green Peachface / Heavy Pied
Dutch Blue / Violet factor

We also have three cockatiels. Two that are White and one that is a grey pied. A Gold Capped Conuer and a Senegal. We do not breed this birds only the Lovebirds.

We are always looking for more information and to share the knowledge with others that we have regarding lovebirds. WE don't know everything nor do I think anyone really does. But we always like to learn more.
