Hello everybody!

Well I've actually been a member here for several months, but I never officially introduced myself..So here goes...
I'm a sophomore at Kansas State University, and I'm 19 years old. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my CAG, Ollie and my kitten, Grissom. I grew up on a farm, so that is where the rest of my pets remain, including my pigeon, Mollie, my tiel, Dakota (who likes my mom better than me, which is the main reason he stayed behind), my 5 dogs, 20 or so cats, my goat, and sheep. I got my first bird, Dakota, when I was about 9 from Petco. Mollie's story is more interesting. Some kids found her at our county 4-H fair under a stock trailer. They took her to the petting zoo, and the lady in charge called me because she knew of my incredible love for animals. Mollie had most of her feathers, but she still had yellow downy feathers sticking out all over. Well I successfully raised her, and she now lives outside in an aviary under our old tree house. I let her out quite often, to exercise, which means I have to let my poor petrified dogs (including a German Shepherd) into the house because she picks on them.
I got Ollie in July, and have since fallen head over heels in love with her. She is the light of my life, and I cant imagine what I would do if something should happen to her. She is 5 months old, and makes kissy noises, meows like my kitten, and can make a sound like a squeaky toy. When I ask her, "Ollie are you excited??" she says "Woooooooo!!" I'm sure its just the tone of my voice she is excited about, but its so hilarious. And she says it in the same pitch every time. I'm so proud!!
I've just want to tell you all how much I enjoy this board. I am online reading posts at least twice a day- I'm officially addicted. Everybody is so helpful, and I have learned so much! Thank you guys for all the information you have provided me with on raising my fids!!
