Laura and Baby African Grey Emily say "hi" !
My pride and joy of my life is a bundle of grey feathers with a little red tail. Emily was born last year at a professional breeder's establishment on July 14th, 2004 and after she was weaned she joined our family. I don't know where to begin sharing stories of how amazing and adorable she is. Emily is an African Grey who showers daily with "her Mom" and loves to cuddle/snuggle 'under the blankets' too !
We also have budgies, lovebirds, diamond doves, canaries, and small finches. Most of them were born in our home. I am very interested in talking with people who also hand-raise baby birds. I would love to hear from other people who want to talk about their birds ! Laura & Baby Emily

Welcome Laura and Emily!
I haven't hand fed any birdies but I do have a house full of them. LOL My grey is named Angel and she is definately the Diva of our household. I don't think that she knows that she is a bird. Even though she isn't the best talker, she can say just about anything that she wants to say. She's just very choosy about what she shares with us. There is much experience on this board. Several who hand feed. If you have any specific questions post them to the main board. Glad to have you with us.

Welcome fellow grey bird fan!!! I'm a huge fan, have been for years. I'm working on bringing a Timneh home within the next week. I'm looking forward to learning more about Emily and checking out all the awesome pictures you're going to post!!! (we love pictures here)

Welcome to the board! My grey, Ollie, is about 2 1/2 months older than Emily. We'll be able to swap growing up stories!! And like npgsoul said, we love pictures...so get them posted!!
