Where is "10 things you don't know about me"?

Dear Monica,
I'm sure you can help me with this. I was reading it last week and found it facinating. But now that I have my own 10, I can't find the site anymore.
Also, I love your address. You might want to expand it to include "Milky Way Gallaxy". Last question. I think you said something about All Budgies are Parakeets but not all parakeets are budgies. Or the other way around?? And I just know learned what "fids" are. Thanks.
Elena

Elena,
You can put that title in the "search" thingy, and it should take you right to it.

I think you are talking about this thread???
http://www.birdboard.com/forum/thread332.html

People do post a lot here, so threads may dissapear easily!

You know, I might have to expand my address! LOL Thanks for the suggestion!

Fids means 'feathered kids', or 'furry kids', depending on which way you look at it. There is also Fildren, which means "feathered children"!

And yes, I did say 'All budgies are parakeets but not all parakeets are budgies'. What I mean by that is that those little birds that people call 'parakeets', their true names are budgies, or budgerigar. Parakeet just means a small parrot with a long tail, which includes everything from parrotlets (not sure how), to cockatiels, ringnecks, and conures and quakers. It does not include lovebirds, though. I own a cherry head conure, a cockatiel, 4 budgies, and two bourkes. Scientifically speaking, I own 8 parakeets, but only 4 of them are actually budgies. Budgies also come in two breeds, 'English' or 'Show' budgies, and 'American' or 'Normal' budgies, however they are all from Australia. It's just to tell the difference between the two breeds, as the english budgies were bred to be much larger and to be able to raise their crest. Some people/petstores call the english budgies 'Budgie', while the smaller normal budgies as 'parakeets'. It can be really confusing...

Another way of saying that phrase is to say: "All zebras are equines, but not all equines are zebras." Equine basically means having the characteristics of a horse, and of course not all horses are zebras. Equines also includes donkeys.

Thanks for your help.

As long as I have you here. I need help in putting Horacio's picture and a quote in my threads. I'm sure I'm not the first one to have trouble. Could you please direct me to an answer. Thanks for the info on budgies and parakeets. What ever they are, I love them. I have one baby that I'm hand taming. He/she steps up on my finger and then climbs up to my shoulder to chill for a while. All yellow and reminds me somehow of lemon merengue pie.
The baby's eyes are still red and no color on the nose thing yet. But a real sweetie.

Hugs and Budgie Pecks, (nice ones)
Elena

Sounds cute! You can either upload a photo to the photo album (I'm sure you already know how to), then scroll down below the image until you see UBBCode:. Right below that, click on 'Copy to Clipboard' (easiest way of doing this). Then, go into a post where you are going to post the image (as in replying), and either press "Ctrl + V", or right click the mouse, look at the drop down menu and then find and press 'Paste'.

You can also upload them to an image hosting site (such as Photobucket.com - one of the easier ones to use. With photobucket, after you upload the image, you will see where you uploaded it, a small thumbnail of the image, and underneath the image it'll have three boxes, with Url, Tag, or Img. In the box that is next to "Img", left click inside where the text is, until the entire box becomes blue, then press "Ctrl + C", and then put into a post via "Ctrl + V" or "Paste" via clicking the right mouse button in the post...
