Hi folks!
I just want to say hi--
I'm new here and am interested in getting a parrot. The choices are overwhelming, so I'm hoping you guys will help me narrow down and point me in the right direction on what would be a suitable bird for our family. I am an animal nut and have 2 yellow labrador retrievers, a parakeet, a leopard gecko and a bearded dragon. also have 2 kids - son, 15 yr old and daughter 11. 'hope to get lots of great info here!! I'll post more details/questions in the other sections.

Welcome! Is that OC as in "the OC"? Think we have almost enough members for a special chapter there! Big bird mart next month at the Pomona Fairplex, just in case you haven't seen everything you are considering before then.
