HI, newbie here
Hello all,
I was "told" about this site from the Quaker Parrots Forum and thought I would introduce myself. I am from the northern panhandle of WVa (near Wheeling, and not too far away from Pittsburgh, Pa). We have 1 bird, Picasso, a quaker. We also have 2 dogs: Casey, a black lab and Kodi, a german shepherd and a black american shorthair cat Max. We have some fish too.  I am looking forward to researching several species of companion birds and this looks like a great place to start. Thanks Cheryl A if you see this!!!  Also looking forward to getting to know all of you and your fids. Im going to try to post a pic of Picasso, so here goes:  Picasso's first flight, "WHHEEEEE!!!" He is clipped now, don't worry.  bathtime

Welcome!
I love in flight pictures. Parrots look so... silly... flying :) Silly, but beautiful. Picasso is lovely. You have a german shepherd... my favorite breed! Oh, if only I had a house! (I say that a lot!)

Wow! I love the picture of Picasso in flight! My camera is too slow to ever get Ollie flying! (jealous!!) I'm also very partial to German Shepherds! I got mine when I was 9. He's just the best darn dog...

Hello
Love the pictures..my camera is also soooo slow. So no flying pics from me.
I have a quaker also, his/her name is Mejo, he is a bit of a wild man, but he is also adorable and very funny. One Quaker at a time in the house is enuff for me..he is alot of bird!! Enjoy the site ~ lots of quaker owners here!!
