Hello my name is Carol and I am owened by 2 tiels, 1 Tag, 6 quakers, 1 sun conure and a Umbrella cockatoo. Oh and the two mutts too..

Most of my birds have been rescued or just rehomed. I am married with 5 kids grown and out of the house most of them married them selves with kids so there are also 5 grandkids. I work part time to care for the kids I have here in my home..

Hello

Hello and welcome to th BirdBoard :)

You have quite a household there!

Lots of action going on there I am sure!!

6 Quakers?? Most people here seem to have only one....they are soo much bird!!

I know one is enough for me!!

Anyone that has 6 quakers deserves a very BIG welcome, not to mention the Too and a Sun. LOL

If you'd like to post more about your birds we'd love to hear about them..and how the heck is life with 6 green monsters. he he

Life is never a dull moment here in my home but I would not trade them for anything they are my kids I have taken in to care and love and that is just what I am doing for them.. Some of them have had a rough life and here they are all spoiled rotten..

As far as the quakers I bought one her name is Kiwi I bought her for hubby after having to have his tiel put down . The others witch does not include 1 of them have been rescues or rehomes, well on of the rehomes dicided he likes the female I have and made me 5 babies that are now5 months. I have sold all but one of them. One of them is Stump she only has one foot and a big scare on the top of her head after being attacked she was not surpose to live according to the vet, I have has her for about 2 years she is my only quite one unless she wants something. The Too I have only had now for 5 days and what a sweety she is.. Very loud but sweet makes up for it. The sun was rescued from a abused home and dirty one too.. Taz the TAG I bought as a baby and have had him for 9 years.

Gray,Taz is 9 years bought as baby
Quakers,
Kiwi is 3 years bought as baby
Pepper is 10 years she is a rehome her owner was going to collage and could not take her to Calif.
Angle rehome former mom passed away and care taker was keeping him but really did not want him
Tuki rehome mom could not handle the screaming cause of migraines
Stump rescued from breeder that was going to put her down and I begged to try with her
Bob do not really know the sex but is the 5 month old baby from Kiwi and Angle.
Sun Conure Peanut rescued
Umbrella Angle #2 rehome from the breeder of the sun I tracked her down on the internet and we talk alot now.. she just wants to be a pet and has had 2 different males with her but that is not what she wanted, she just wants to be loved on all of the time..
So yes my house is not quite until all go to bed at night..

Carol
