Back with the birds!

Hi all!

I used to breed budgies with my father when I was younger. It's been about ten years since I've had a flock of 200 budgies, and I think I'm ready to get back in the bird circle.

I've just bought a budgie from the pet store this past weekend, and I'm looking forward to training him (with your help of course!).

He is violet, with clear wings. Geneticaly, I'm not so sure if he is a true Violet, but he does look purple to me. That's one of the main reasons I picked him up, the pet store didn't know what a raraty they had!

He does have a slightly gimmpy wing that doesn't sit flat on his back, and that is why no one realy wanted him at the store. Who else but me would love a gimmpy bird? Don't worry, he can still fly...untill I clip his wings.
