My Buddy doesn't talk 9although I'm quite a talker) he purrs, and sounds as if he's calling Buddy but it may be my imagination. I also can't imagine my life without my Buddy. he's such a doll. Every night I hold him while watching t.v. he plays on my lap, eats out of his dish, cuddles under my neck and is so loving. When my husband comes over to me to hold Buddy ,Buddy tries to hide under my neck and coos.
Buddy will nip at my hand if he wants something(or doesn't want something) he's quite headstrong but it's fine with me. I'll spoil him (as I did my children :)although how can I spoil him wiht love? I live in the Goldrush country up north. Nice to meet you. |

I have a question
Does anyone know how I can tell the gender. I'm just curious. He'll always by My Buddy
We also have a Cockatoo named Ziggy. She's my husbands baby. Ziggy is soooo jealous of me even going around my husband. She has bitten me three times and believe me it hurt. I talk with her but that's about it. I just knew I didn't want another big bird so went to a bird show and found my little Buddy. he's been hand fed until 3 months old and then came to live with us. He prefers being with me but will tolerate my husband. We also have 12 cats(indoor) and 3 dogs. Buddy will attack any of our cats who jump on my lap while he's with me. Buddy loves cottage cheese and brocolli with a little mayonaise. He bathes in his water dish(he hates for me to mist him) and he travels with us on vacations or day outings. I bought one of those shoulder cages that has the net cage in front. Kind of like a baby carrier but for birds. This is so much fun talking about our little feathered babies. Someone on here mentioned a damp cloth while playing. I used one last evening and Buddy really liked sucking on it and burying himself in it.... thanks so much. I also appreciate knowing some different food they can eat and enjoy. This is fun reading about your babies.Have a great day. Last edited by mybuddy; 10-14-2007 at 06:40 PM. |

lets see if I remember, the male Sennie will not have any green around the vent area. None. I also believe thhe "v" on the chhest goes all the way down between the legs on thhe males as well. These will be with mature Sennies though. Two plus years old.
