Red face canaries sick  and questions please

I have four females (bought as males) and one male. My female Cadbury and the male Robbie have air sac mites and are very sick : ( especially Cadbury who is a Norwich, I think.

In a cage directly under the sick ones I have four females and one baby, two weeks out of the nest. I bought some Ivermectin from the pet shop though Cadbury is still sick. Is it safe for the baby to drink the Ivermectin in the water? I've been treating them for two days.

Do I need to treat all the birds? I am.

Do I need to be more cautious with my own health? Can I catch something from the birds, the cage is right near my front door?

How long do I feed 'soaked seed' to the canaries (& baby)?

I think you are fine, but I would check with a vet about the little ones and the quickest treatment. I'm sorry for your troubles.
