bird brain

I found this website a while ago in the midst of a trauma with my bird and everyone was so helpful and great so I wanted to say thank you. I haven't been on since so I just wanted to introduce myself. I am 16 and I've just recently become interested in birds and love to read and learn about them. I convinced my parents to allow me to have a bird after a LOT of hard work and they like him but now I guess I got bird fever and I'm dying for another one. They say one is enough and why would I want another bird. Also I thought what if I kept the new bird cage in my room but they said it's bad for your lungs and can make you sick if you have birds in your room. is that true? Well I just wanted to introduce myself and my situation. I look forward to learning all I can about birds they are all I think about, that's why I consider myself a true bird brain.

I think if you keep your birds cage and surrounding area clean it would be fine however your bird may not get enough interaction there.
