I'm new

I'm new to this board, but certainly not to birds. I am currently slave to Casey, a 17 year old Goffin cockatoo. I have had him since he was a three month old unweaned baby.
I have had birds all my life, starting with the budgies my mother raised. I tried breeding my own pair, but it never happened. After I married, I got a baby cockatiel that I named Zachary. Zack lived to be 14.
I am involved in the Rhode Island Pet bird club. We are small, but we have a good time!

Hi, welcome from Colorado! Please give your Goffins a scritch on the head for me!

thanks for the welcome

This board looks like a great, friendly place. Birdlady49, if I
could give Casey skritches, I sure would. He won't let me touch him. It's a long story, better reserved for another forum.
I'll post it in the near future, probably on the cockatoo forum.
