Hello Everyone
I can't believe I haven't found this board until now. What a great resource.
I'm new to the board but not new to birds. I have a happy/healthy/rambunctious 4 year old Sun Conure named Stanley. He loves to growl like a lion and say "whooooaaaaa" when he's unsure about something. He also imitates my snoring...little punk. I also have a 4 year old hand tamed canary named Turbo and my most recent addition...a yellow hen named Miss Perch. When I first got Miss Perch two months ago, she could barely hop and fly from one side of her 36" cage to the other...so occasionally she would miss the perch she was trying to fly to. Now, she's flying all over the place and really has the hots for Turbo. She follows him everywhere. Turbo was at first a little hostile towards her, but he's slowly warming up to her. I caught them "doing it" the other day, so hopefully babies will arrive shortly. I live in Southern California.

Welcome! I have a 6 y/o Sun Conure. Aren't they the vivacious little characters? There's alotta bird wrapped up in their small, colorful bodies... I sure love my Petey McSweet :-). I hope you enjoy it here.
