Talking Hello all, these are the best i have

Hey all!!!......btw i meant "Hello all, these are the BIRDS i have".... I oughtta concentrate more!!!
I'm Teesha and i currently have one cockatiel male and his two daughters...a male galah, 5 zebras and 6 chooks!!! The parrots are all little viscious buggers! I can't spell all that great btw, or type for that matter, your going to have to forgive me! All my pets are parent raised aviary birds...which is why they don't take to fondly to the human hand .... My hand is currently partially mauled by my galah...every week i go in to play with him thinking, maybe this time he'll be nice....it starts off well, but in 2 minutes he starts to attack me ....i should just give up! My galah and cockatiel talk....they taught each other a few words and whistles too....That's really it......Except the fact that i want one last bird for my birthday, and i want it to be hand raised....and not bite !!!
Any suggestions of a bird that is very gentle, cuddly and moderately quiet ??? The intelligence will also be a bonus! I don't care if it's ugly!!! i just want a nice hand raised good one! I've had my heart broken so many times buying wild birds, but i am willing to give it one last try!
I just recently got a job at a bird pet shop...so i've been bitten by love birds today, and a galah!

I assume you mean Melbourn Australia and not Florida. If so, you may be limited as to which species are readily available to you. In the States, we have just about any bird your heart desires.

Frankly, I think you best bet would likely be a handraised Princess or Quaker parrot. Both are lovely little creatures if handraised and socialized.

I assume Melbourne as well as galahs there cost $25 possibly for a 'wild' one, and $50 for handraised? Here in the states they are roughly $1,300. I'd love to have a galah, even if it wasn't friendly! Maybe though if you learned some ways that you could handle him, and get him away from his domain (cage, aviary??) that you might be able to work with him enough to tame him down.

As far as very gentle, moderately quiet and cuddly, I guess I'd have to suggest a Princess Parrot... Quakers are great but if not worked with frequently, can tend to get cage aggressive. Also they can become one person birds... I'd also love to have a quaker, but one would get less of a hassle working with a Princess.

Princess, Quaker, Green Cheek... those would probably be your best bet for finding a cuddly playful bird...

Eclectus are also great pets if u want to spend a little more ($600 - $1000 depending on where u get them), plus they are stunning to look at as well. My boy is cuddly, plays all day, loves to be out with me, loves his food and is trying to help me type at the moment, silly boy. Just another suggestion for u.

thanx...
Which out of a quaker, princess, green cheek ( or other quieter conure), or eclectus is least likely to have aggression problems....all i really wnat is a bird that will NEVER bite that loves me!! i also wanna try something different, hence why i'm not getting another charming little tiel! do u suggest i buy it form a breeder, handraised? Also i want it to be like a toy really...that loves me....like it will let me handle it everywhere and put it on its back as i said....or scratch it all the time and wont succumb to screaming its head off or getting over me like my tiel did, just a friend for life that is a bust buddy....smartness and entertainment is cool too...like rolling over n playing wakily like conures do, or working out problems and stuff.....
yeh...i preferr it to be smaller than a galah, and not have a really long tail, for hygiene reasons, they always seem to tatter and get poo on it, and also bigger than a tiel....any more suggestions....are u sure only those bird are availiable that fits my description...what about ring necks?

Least likeliest??? Princess.... They just have a calmer personality than the rest. Handraised would probably be your easiest route for a sweet baby too.

Quakers if not handled frequently can get cage aggressive, but other than their quirks are very cuddly birds.

Here is a quaker (with a rather short tail) and gc... (click image to enlarge)

Greencheeks are actually smaller than cockatiels, but can be cuddly to... their downfall is normally their high pitched screach (when they let one out) or how they can tend to be nippy at times. However, they can also be cuddly birds...

Ringnecks, if not raised right or handled frequently can tend to be very stubborn birds and most normally tend to be more hands off. It is said that they require more attention as chicks to be more handalbe as adults.

Here's an alexandrine and green cheek... indian ringnecks are smaller

All birds have the potential to be loud and to bite, no matter their species. Yes, some species are less likely to screech and be nippy, but they all have their own personalities. Frankly, if you're looking for a pet that is quiet and will never bite, a bird is not the right choice for you.
