Hi Everyone

Just joined your wonderful site.It's great to have all this info on one site.I have 10 cockatiels 4 of which I handfed from 3 weeks of age,2 rainbow lorikeets and a very untame male cockatoo called Robert I hope to gain the trust of.So for now I'm off to get lost in the cockatoo forum.

Hi Monica.......Robert is a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo,not sure if he is a greater or lesser as we got him from the bird auctions.How do I tell which one he is?

There are the greater, medium, and lesser sulphur from my understanding.... and the lesser tend to have more of a yellow or orange cheek than that of a greater... I also assume that they may be slightly smaller... I can't really say for sure myself as I don't own a too!

Ok I think that might rule him out as being a lesser as his cheek patches are a very pale yellow.
