Just wanted to say Hi! My name is Katie and I have 2 parakeets, Marley and Sabrina, who I just recently adopted from the Humane Society, and 2 cockatiels, Zeke (about 3) and Sophie (10). Zeke I have had for about a month now, and Sophie I just got a couple days ago but she is a big baby. I had parakeets about 10 years ago, but have never had cockatiels. I love them so much! My Grandma kind of kidnapped the parakeets, (and managed to make it seem like I agreed), so they are around me the most. I will try and post pics as soon as I can get some decent ones. (They just won't sit still for their pictures )

Hi there - love to see those photos.

I have 2 Budgies [one from a shelter & one from a breeder] - My mother has 2 Tiels.

I got photos of my tiels only because I caught them in their sleepy stage.

Actually I had a similar thing to you, I had budgies when I was growing up but never any bigger birds, and I only got my two cockatiels this year. I love the larger birds (hah, not many people will call tiels 'larger') but I've had some budgies with real character, that's for sure!
