Wink Thanks all for the welcome

We just sort of fell into the birds. We have Sun and Nanday Conures (6), Quaker Parrots (2), lovebirds (12), Indian Ringnecks (2), cockatiels (40), and parakeets (34). We went to a gentleman who has been selling birds for over 35 years to get a Lutino for our granddaughter. This is what we came home with, built an aviary and are hooked. The gentleman we got them from just lost his wife and has had three strokes and his children what him to move in with him. We happened on his doorstep on a lucky day I guess. But I feel like I have no knowledge. I have bought every book on every species. But, to say the least, it is overwhelming. ALL the birds are doing great, hopefully have adjusted to their new home. We love them all. Java

Welcome. I think we can fix you right up. It was Fate that placed you there and its Fate that brings you here. I'm the Outlaw and I'll be glad to help with anything I can.

Wow! That's quite the flock to start with! This is the place to come for answers--and friendship--especially if you show us pix *grins*. I think you'll like it here :-). Welcome to Birdboard!

Hi
What a story! Glad you joined. What good hearts you two must be. Please post some photos of your flock. There are a number of people who have fabulous aviaries for their birds & I'm sure you will enjoy sharing photos & stories.
Most people who want a bird, start with one [but like chips you can't eat just one] but your story is wild.
All the best to you both.
