your scarlet is very purdy, does she speak much ?
Hi there,

He talks a lot! He is still pretty marbly and sometimes his words are not clear but for being 8 months old, I think he is doing great. He says Hello and step up, Huh, and what very well and then everything else we haven't figured out yet! Sometimes he will sit there and talk to himself for like a half an hour!!

Plus, I sweep and vacuum 2-3 times/daily, bathe Gracie the U2 as often as I can pry her into the shower, and house Gracie and Bob in separate rooms. We clean or change filters weekly, and they need it! Between the dogs and the bird dust, it's a killer when we don't have them running. The filters are noisy, even not running on full power, but with all the dog and bird noises around here, we hardly notice the filters--until we turn them off to change or clean them. Then the silence is so loud it almost hurts :-).

Your GWs are beautiful! I didn't think I wanted one (I prefer the looks of Scarlets) until I met a baby GW at the place I got Bob. In a little while, after the baby weans, he'll be coming home with me. To know them is to love them!

Lance and Amber--if you get a Hy, I am going to be SOOOOOOOOO jealous! Don't do it, mon! You'll cost us a fortune! Can you imagine us having to build a bird room and get my dream Hy just to keep up with the "Joneses"? *grins*
Hi Irish!! We are seriously considering a Hy...They are darling and just down right beautiful, I love their contrasting colors and I find myself researching them in every free moment I have! However...Before we bring home a big baby like that Lance has to build an outdoor aviary, so the fids have a large area to play in the sun...

LOL, Amber.... you go, girl :-). Get that Hy--And then you'll have the two most beautiful birds in the world, imho. But while you're looking--keep eyes out for another one, huh, 'cause they're my dream bird, too. You know I can talk my spouse into absolutely anything with no trouble at all. This time, it would be all about the bank account.... *grins*

I hear ya on the bank account! I'll keep my eyes open for the both of us. I have been searching the Oregon area classifieds and etc... I haven't found anything yet...I have ran into two scammers though!! They sent me emails claiming they lived in Oregon, but said the birds were in Cameroon! Like I would have a bird shipped from Cameroon??? Especially, from someone who can't even carry on a conversation in english!

there also have been postings on craigslist for the bay area about birds and eggs being offered from Cameroon. most have been found out to be scams. please be aware and do avoid them!

Hello PNaG,

Welcome to BirdBoard!

I also have a greenwing baby, she is 6 months this week. They are wonderful! I LOVEEEE your pictures. I also love the looks of your play gym. Im in serious need for one, and can't seem to find anyone who sells good ones. (Anyone know of a place that ships? ) Anywho, I would love to see more pictures, we can't get enough of them around here. Any questions Don't be affraid to ask. What new member were you thinking about adding to your home?

Irish/Captain Jack,
I want Hy too! Find three!... Maybe you can find a good breeder and just exsplain we are addicts and umm, we need three babies or we will have withdrawls and die. But you have to say... "You would'nt want us to die would you?" and pout. It just might work! And if it does'nt you might need to get on your knees and cry and beg a bit.
