Welcome to the Birdboard, certainly are some fun people here :)

Do you have birds now, or are you interested in getting one?

Never have visited the Ozarks ~ come to think of it I haven't been much of anywhere.

Always had too many animals, so I won't complain :)

Yes! I have tiels, lovies, budgies, zebra finches and a pair of parrotlets and will be adopting a gouldian finch hen on Sunday. I've had budgies off and on most of my life (I'm in my early 40's). My son brought me a tiel last Spring and that started a birdie whirl wind in my home. Thanks to the net I have learned how to feed my flock more than seeds and they are thriving. I raised my first lovebird babies last fall and they were a hoot. I have acquired quite a flock and didn't really think about not being able to go anywhere , but that's ok. I Love Birds!

Thank you all for the Great Welcome. I guess I find myself wanting the best of both worlds...Some Pets and Some breeders. I'm finding it hard to sell my babies, but I need to cut my flock back. I still have several babies that I raised in the fall that I was hoping to keep as they are so sweet. I recently joined my local bird club in Feb. and we are having another fair at the end of July. I'm trying to decide now who can go and who can stay.

As for pictures, so you guys do ImageStation?

parrotlets, the male looks aweful...the female has plucked him nearly bald. I got them this way and they are in a divided cage right now.

I really haven't kept up with imagestation! Good to see that one doesn't have to be a member to view photos! (of course I am a member.... but I like that feature of not having to be a member or not having to be signed in to view albums).

Peaches is gorgeous!!! I know someone who used to want one... Got some pretty budgies too! Looks like maybe there's a violet factor in there?

Some very gorgeous photos there! Glad you shared!

Pat,
I forgot to answer your question about Birch Tree. If you took a ruler and layed it horizontally on the state of Missouri and drew a line from me to Birch Tree(to the right), I'm in SW MO and Birch Tree is in SE MO. I had to look it up and it looks like it's not far from where I grew up in Hardy, Ark (North East Ark). BT is very close to and north of a town called West Plains. When I was a kid we would go there to buy shoes. Yes, I lived in the sticks. I bet your friends know right where West Plains is.
