Hello all.

Hi.

Feeling abit embarrased now! Its taken you all to wish me a happy birthday, for me to finally post. But abit shy chatting online.

I live in Kent in England. I am owned by Seren my gorgeous blue and gold Macaw. She has been with me since she was 6 months old. She is nearly 2 1/2 now. Seren brings me alot of happiness and can be a right little madame, But i would never change her for the world. She talks for England and she has alot of attitude and also very loving.

When i was 16 i worked for a small pet shop that had a greenwing, and i fell in love with macaws. I used to have budgies when i was younger. But nothing as big as her. I spent years wanting to get a macaw but never did anything apart from reading up about them, till i saw Seren. It was an instant attraction. I had to get her.

Not sure how to put up photos here? But i do have a photobucket. I hope the links work. If not can someone help me?

Look forward to chatting to you all.

Thanx.

Lisa

Until I came to this board I never really looked at Macaws.

They seemed so far out of my league & a Little scary, that I never really looked at them. Of course they weren't all that common around here either. The more I see them, the more I marvel - & the real deal doesn't scare me anymore, but I'm sure respectful.
Your Seren is beautiful - you can post more you know.

Seren is gorgeous! I love BGs--my own "Bob" is the avian light and love of my life. Following close behind is my baby GW, "Arthur", who finally gets to come home in about a week and a half. He'll be about 5 3/4 months old, then. As a species, Cockatoos are my favorite for their beauty and over-the-top personalities, but because of Bob and cockatoo dust, I'll only ever have Gracie. That's good enough for me, though--one cockatoo is more work than a half dozen macaws! LOL!

Welcome and I hope you enjoy it here :-).

Thank you for the warm welcome.

I may also be having a G/W to living with me. But will keep you posted on the news.
Its a long story.

I do have a few more pictures. But not many. My old pc dyed on me a few weeks ago and i lost all pictures and videos of her. Absolutely gutted that i lost them. Now i have a new pc, I will have to start again! Just need to get everything set up first on here.

Heres is a few more. Sorry they are so big, but i have no idea how to make them smaller. I am abit thick when it comes to computers.
