Late Introduction...
I already posted some stuff, but I thought it's never too late to introduce myself.
First I'd like to mention, that I really like this forum. It's by far the most helpful and friendly one I found - and I spent some time looking. And that's why I'm excited to join  .I'm owned by Valo (and I mean that literally) unless my boyfriend comes to stay for a while (long distance) - and then we're both owned by that charismatic GCC. He's extremely interactive, sweet if he wants to be and very very cute - which he, of course, knows..... the beginning of the downfall for the humans.  Unfortunately I can't spend as much time with him as I'd like to since I'm in grad school and "fulltime-slave" for my advisor. However, there's always an hour here and there for the little feathered guy.... and there are of course weekends! I've been exposed to birds since I was 6, and I've loved them since. One of my greatest "victory" of all times was the purchase of Valo - my significant other had a bad bird experience and hated them for the longest time (my favorite statement: "if you ever want to have a bird, you have to decide between me and the bird"). But when we came across Valo, even he couldn't resist.... I'm originally Austrian, and back home we have a (problematic, traumatized) cockatiel which definitely needs some attention (please see the thread in the special bids - I'm greatful for every advice). I'm glad to have found this board!
