about time I said Hiya

I have been a member of this board since 16th sept, 2005. I have read so much and watched so many vids, well its about time I start to share myself.

My name is Angie, I live in South Gippy, Victoria, Australia.

In my birdroom resides.

Kai - blue male Indian Ringneck (tame)
Mickey - Kai's mate a lutino Indian Ringneck (wild until after this breeding season is over)
Jordan - our super tame lutino male Indian Ringneck
Jasper - my lovebird
Kiely - my daughters cockatiel
Stella - my fat grey blue english budgie
Brinly - my skinny fathead geen/yellow english budgie

We had a wild blue Indian Ringneck named Mallory, a rescue, but she has moved onto an aviary situation on the other side of my town and is probably breeding her heart out now at debs house.

And R.I.P. our beautiful Riki, kakariki, that was my second eldest daughters bird, he was very young and fell to respiratory disease, which apparently is very common in this breed in the early months.

Plus now Mickey and Kai are parents to babies, they started hatching today, I can hear them in the nest, not sure how many yet, but they had a clutch of 4 eggs. Here is a video all be it very dark , you can hear the baby squeaks

Sorry About the long winded intro .. *Waves* Hiya to all

Cheers !

Hi
Great flock! I can't believe you took so long to chime in - I was a member for a year before I started to join in too (but it was because I didn't have my own fid yet & was a little nervous of all the 'experts'! ).
I imagine everyone is interesed in the new IRN babies so you'd better post that.
Being a Budgie owner - I'd love to see your Budgies - please post some photos in the Budgie section too. They sound very interesting & not many people have the English variety.
Will look for your posts - great to meet you.
Hope you enjoy the BB

Thanks for the welcomes .. I will get right on the budgie posts asap.

Go Aussies ! , do you know how many aussies on bird sites i know that are in Queensland, I guess it must be the most popular parrot breeding area of Australia or something.

I guess It took me so long to post because I had a place I called home for well over a year but ended up being forced to leave because of abuse from the controlling admin and mod there, first time I disagreed with something and I was run off. Sad but hey S##% happens huh ! And mine is not an isolated case, even brand new members are treated badly sometimes.

I have to stop that now, I am here to enjoy !

so although I do have another huge aussie based site I visit mostly, I want to share here also .
