Welcome to the boards. we have one, ziggy. he looks to be about the same size as yours, just alittle fuller. he was 1 yoa in may.

Fable
Your gcc looks about the right size, this is Fable and she hatched March 1, 2006 So almost the same age... She's loads of fun but has a mind of her own!!!!

Welcome to the boards. You definately got a cute GCC. Looks about the right size too. They don't get big which is great.
As far as information not read on websites or books, no clue. I have read websites but don't really own any conure specific books. All my bird books are tricks or training or other bird aspects. No species specific ones. Just read some of the posts on the conure forum and there might be something of interest. I also own a GCC. I have only had Yazhi for about 6 weeks now and he is at the weaning stage.
